Tory & Joe’s destination wedding in Buenos Aires is one of my favorites. In first place, as a photographer I love being able to meet couples from different parts of the word (and also I get to practice my english). But this is not why I love this wedding, I love it because this couple is awesome and they made this day a very unique one.
I always try to encourage brides and grooms to try to make the wedding day their own, to do whatever they want, with their styles and what they like.
For example, Tory and Joe didn’t exchange rings. They already did that in their legal ceremony back in London and they saw no point in repeating it. Instead, they decided to go in other direction. Tory told me that her dad had bought an amazing whisky and told her that they were going to open it when she got married. So, instead of the rings, they did a toast with that whisky. I think that was a great idea!
The ceremony took place in Estancia RF an amazing venue where you really feel in the countryside. And that sunsets there are really to die for. Also all the set-up was beautiful.
My style is candid/natural but when so many people come from different countries I take really seriously to try to get everybody in the photos. So I was always around them, trying to be invisible but present in case there was an amazing moment I needed to catch with my camera. Destination Weddings are beautiful but also tricky.
But to make a long story short, just look at these photos. And let me know if you are able to get over that sunset and golden hour photo session. Because I still can’t.
