Carlos y Oscar vinieron desde Perú a casarse en Buenos Aires. Siempre pienso que ojalá pudieran celebrarse matrimonios igualitarios en su país, pero al mismo tiempo me alegra que puedan venir a Argentina a cumplir su sueño.
Como fotógrafa quiero decir que es un lujo poder acompañarlos. Siempre quiero que tengan las fotos más lindas y naturales, que transmitan la emoción y esos pequeños momentos y detalles. Así cuando vuelven a casa y las comparten con sus amigos y familia, ellos también pueden sentir que estuvieron acá.
Estos novios no son solo un amor de personas, sino que no recuerdo haberme reído tanto en un casamiento. Me hicieron sentir en todo momento como una invitada más y ellos ya tienen un lugar en mi corazón.
Nos conocimos unos días antes de la boda y charlamos sobre dónde podían realizar el festejo íntimo que tenían pensado. Yo justo venía de una propuesta de matrimonio (sorpresa) en el Palacio Duhau con una pareja que venía de Bolivia y cuando vieron unas fotos les encantó.
Ese lugar es mágico, me gusta mucho ir a hacer sesiones de parejas o casamientos ahí. Les di otras opciones, pero decidieron casarse en esta pequeña París que encontramos en medio de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires.
Ellos festejaron con un banquete donde hubo comida (mucha), brindis (muchos) y risas (infinitas).
Ese día volví a mi casa cansada pero muy feliz. Agradecida de este trabajo tan hermoso que me permite conocer personas como ellos.

Carlos and Oscar came all the way from Perú to get married in Buenos Aires. I always think how great it would be if the couples could celebrate same sex weddings in their own countries, but I am glad they can come to Argentina to make their dream come true.
As a photographer it is a pleasure to be there. I try to get the most candid and beautiful photos, that portray the emotion, the moments and the little details. This way, when they share them with family and friends, they can also feel as if they were here.
Carlos and Oscar are something else. I don’t remember laughing so much in any other event. They made me feel as one more guest and now they have a place in my heart.
We met a few days before the big day, and we talked about the ideal venue to celebrate their intimate wedding. I just came from a surprise wedding proposal in the Palacio Duhau and when they saw a few photos they loved it.
That place is special, I love going there for couple’s photo sessions and weddings. I showed them other options, but they chose to do it in this little Paris in the middle of the city of Buenos Aires.
Carlos & Oscar celebrated with an enormous meal with included a lot of food, a lot of toasts and infinite laughter.
That day I came back home really tired but very happy. Grateful for this job in which I get to meet such amazing couples.
